Items of Interest about Dorothy Chase

Dorothy and her late husband, Richard raised twin daughters and a son.  One of Dorothy's favorite paintings is of Richard and their granddaughter, Elizabeth, fishing.  Their daughter Pamela is also an artist.  In 2001, Dorothy, Pam and Pam's daughter, Elizabeth, had a three generation show to exhibit their artwork.

Dorothy enjoys traveling and always takes her camera to photograph landscapes that might be inspiration for a painting.  In 2006, she traveled to New Mexico to paint with Rosie Southworth, to Georgia to see her son, David and to Maryland to visit her daughter, Pat.  She also took a trip to Alaska.

Dorothy is an Advanced Master Gardener, plays the piano and grows orchids.  She is a signature member and former board member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana.  Dorothy's memberships also include The Brown County Art Associates, Central Indiana Artists, Hoosier Salon, Indiana Artists Club, Between Palette and Paper, Hamilton County Artists' Association, Indiana Heritage Arts, Southside Art League, and Indiana Wildlife Artists.
