Vandra enjoys working with computer art. She has a program
whereby she can draw with a stylus on a mat, similar to a mouse pad, and the drawing is
transferred to the computer. One day, her son, Isaac was moping
around the house with a cat in his arms and a stocking cap pulled down almost to
his eyes. Vandra captured his mood in a few
lines on the computer.

| Many of Vandra's paintings have a story
behind them. The inspiration for Nepali Dream Dance
came from a visit to Nepal shortly after the death of her father.
Her first day was sunny and beautiful. She was able to photograph
a funeral stupa in the mountains above her hotel. That night she
had a dream that her father came and took her out into the universe
where they danced.
She could feel him holding her and hear music. She awoke the next
morning to the feeling of being caressed. When she looked outside four
inches of snow covered ground from a storm the night before and grey
replaced the sun of the previous day. The
combination of events and feelings come together in Vandra's art.
It includes an image of Vandra sitting on a rock in the mountains, the
funeral stupa, and the stars of the universe as a backdrop as she and
her father dance.
