Items of Interest about Frederick W. Rigley

Fred, like many artists, collects beautiful and interesting things.  He has pottery, paintings by friends and colleagues and lots of cars...mostly 1:24 scale die cast classics.  He has a 1913 Duesenberg, a current Lamborghini and a number of interesting models in between.

Fred has traveled quite a lot on the east coast of the United States and has lived in Massachusetts and Florida.  Much of his work is based on these locations.  While he was a student at Ringling School of Art in Florida, Fred not only painted but even tried his hand at sculpting.  He has sculptures done at that time.  He cast them in plaster because bronze was too expensive to experiment with.
