Rosemarie enjoys gardening, hiking, traveling and playing Boggle with her friends. Rosie has painted a number of scenes from her travels to Italy and to the southwest United States. She says, "When you travel and get away from it all, it opens your eyes." Rosemarie always has her camera handy to take pictures that may inspire paintings.

Like many artists, Rosemarie enjoys music. It was a classical piece that inspired "Floral Rhythms," a loose, fanciful watercolor that she painted many years ago. Rosemarie said that each stem matched a beat of the music.
