Carol is one of the artists chosen for the
Painting Indiana, The Changing Face of Agriculture project. This
project is the second in a series of collaborations to document Hoosier
life and land, following the record setting Painting Indiana,
Portraits of Indiana's 92 Counties. One of the subjects that Carol decided upon
for The Changing Face of Agriculture was how the fast food
industry and the drive-up
window have changed lifestyles.

| Carol has sketches taped to her door
with the phrase "shapes not objects." She practices sketching
shapes; not the shapes of objects but the shapes around the objects.
She said if she wanted to copy the landscape, she would get photographs.
When she creates a work of art she is seeking a harmony of shapes and colors.
