Rule Changes for the IHA
2008 Exhibition & Sale |
After careful consideration, the Indiana
Heritage Arts Board of Directors has implemented some important rule
changes for this years' annual exhibition and sale. |
While Indiana Heritage Arts wants every
artist to enter what they believe is their best work, they have an
obligation to their patrons to bring fresh work for their consideration.
In recent years, some artists have entered works that have made the
rounds in other competitions and have already been seen by their
patrons. In order to better secure their future growth and
success, the Indiana Heritage Arts is putting this rule in place
effective immediately. |
In addition, size regulations in this year's
competition will be strictly enforced. |
- "All paintings must be framed,
gallery wraps, and other modern trends are not allowed"
The Indiana Heritage Arts Exhibition takes
the editorial position of being a traditional and representational art
show, following in the legacy of the early artists who founded the
Brown County Art Colony in the early 1900's |
